Wang defeats Mariners for 10th win

Wang inconsistent against Florida but earns eighth win

Wang had one bad inning, but completed seven innings to earn the victory.


Wang gets Florida's Mike Jacobs to ground into a double play to end the top of the 1st inning.

After giving up a two-run home run to Florida catcher Miguel Olivo in the 2nd inning, Wang opened the top of the 5th inning by striking out Olivo looking at a 96 MPH fastball.

Kyle Farnsworth gave up a run in the 8th, but Mariano Rivera saved another win for Wang.

Wang finally beats the Red Sox and earns his sixth win

Wang completes seven innings, but the game is tied. Can he get some support in the bottom of the inning?

Rallying with two outs, Jason Giambi draws a bases loaded walk to bring in Miguel Cairo with the second run, and Wang now has a chance to earn the win.



Melky Cabrera receives cheers after returning to left field in the top of the ninth. Cabrera made an amazing game-saving catch in left-center to rob Boston's Manny Ramirez of a game-tying home run.
